This is a rarely seen album from 1966 when Batmania was in full swing. Maxwell Davis here provides us with nine self-penned Batman inspired tunes, along with his version of Neal Hefti's classic main theme. Released in the US by Crown Records (red cover above) and later by Ember Records in the UK (blue version above) this is a great forgotten little gem, featuring swinging surf guitars and driving rhythms.......to the Batmobile!

Anyway, just grabbed this album and it is really great. Have a few other "Batman" albums but love this one as it is so "jazzy" Thanks for the posting of it.
