Another modern interpretation of the crime jazz genre now, but this time the style is pure swinging 60's. The style here is pure surf guitar and it's all the better for it!If you like your spy grooves with that cool retro twangy guitar sound, and a touch of groovy hammond organ thrown in for good measure, then this is the album for you! The ever wonderful Combustible Edison showcase their great version of "A Shot In The Dark" and along with many other bands heavily influenced by the lounge/surf/exotica genres.

Oh, my! Compliments AND Contributions!
Consider the Lounge officially dusted off!
@ Mister B
That Hammond Bond album is already featured in our archives here at The Crime Lounge. I really appreciate you taking the time to share it with us however, and if you have anything else in our genre, please don't hesitate to post it here :)
And thanks for coming back with that password so quickly. Much appreciated!
@ isbum
It had been a while since I last went down into the Crime Lounge archives. Good job I remembered the secret pass code :)
Almost blinded myself whilst blowing the dust off the files :))
That's a lot of fun. It's an especially rousing "Mission: Impossible," and I love the changes of "The Liquidator." I do prefer the similar surf-guitar-meets-Mancini compilation "Shots in the Dark," but I'm grateful to hear this. Many thanks -- and nice to see some new posts!
