This is a discussion area dedicated to anything related to vinyl.
Maybe you want to tell us about your collection, how many records you own, what your most valuable or prized album is? Maybe advise others on cleaning records, storing them, how old you were when you first started collecting.....the list goes on, I'm sure you get the idea.
Also if anyone wants to ask in here about buying/selling records, fell free.
Consider this a little vinyl club hidden away in the big wide world of blogland.

Vinyl rocks! Although sometimes when you are going through the $1 bin, the dust gets in your eyes, nose & mouth causing you to squint, sniffle and sneeze, respectively.
I'd be interested to hear how you fellow collectors store your vinyl. Homemade shelves? Ikea? How do you prevent the records from spilling over to keep from drowning in a sea of vinyl?

I'm also on the lookout for some good quality storage system for LP's. If anyone has any links to suppliers (something that can grow with the collection) of such storage please let us know.
i've got about 2500 lps, mostly easy listening, oop stuff. I started collecting seriously about 15 years ago.
As far as storage, I've never been able to find anything to fit my dimensions or style. Good old homemade wood and screws from Home Depot did the trick. Measure out the dimensions of your space and build away.. problem is.. wood ain't sold in 12" wide boards.. got to get an 11 1/4" and nail a 3/4" strip all around the back of the frame...
