A great LP from 1959 courtesy of the archives of LoungeTracks. This is old school crime jazz from the days when jazz was "
in" baby! This original mono pressing has the Aaron Bell Orchestra playing it
straight down the middle (sorry!) The cover informs us that the orchestra is in fact a well-known bunch of players, including, Eddie Costa, Ray Bryant, Oliver Jackson, Seldon Powell and Kenny Burrell with the fore mentioned Aaron Bell on Bass. So grab a copy and settle down for some smooth swinging crime jazz.
