Here we have a collection of 16 cop show themes credited to The London Theatre Orchestra. This seems to be a name they give to "uncredited" artists as there are quite a few collections around bearing their name and none of them sound like an orchestra!
Either way, they are pretty good versions of well-known tunes.

Here is a great album from 1973 featuring the sound of The Eric Winstone Big Band. You may be familiar with quite a few of these recordings as they have appeared on various Bond compilations over the years under multiple artist names, here though are the original recordings presented from the original album.

Eric Winstone recorded various album's for the Avenue International label, some of them featuring arrangements and compositions from Amphonic Library regulars. This particular LP was co-arranged and co-produced by the legendary Syd Dale.

WHO DARES WINS

Fresh from his success in TV's The Professionals, Lewis Collins hit the ground running with this tailor-made action piece. As Bodie, he played an ex-SAS officer, so his role here was pretty much a continuation of that television character.

Supplying the pulsating score was a master of the genre, Roy Budd. Having scored many classic action thrillers throughout the seventies, here he bursts into the eighties with a slightly more electronic style. "Who Dares Wins" as it was originally titled was know as "The Final Option" when released in the US.

This is the last of our Roland Shaw albums, This is a double LP set from the 70's entitled "The Return of James Bond in Diamonds are Forever and Other Secret Agent Themes" (do these albums have long titles or what?) and must surely rank as one of the best collections of its kind.

As well as the usual Bond stuff that has appeared on various other Shaw collections, here we have some great versions of TV themes played the way only Roland can. Fantastic covers of The Avengers, The Ipcress File, Mission Impossible & Our Man Flint amongst others.

Included here is my own custom cover design (brown version above) it matches my cover for Roland's "World of James Bond Adventure" posted earlier. I made it because I couldn't find a decent quality version of the original (as seen above in white).
