THE BOND COLLECTION

2007 : THE BOND PROJECT

This a great collection from the collective folk over at Isbums Place "Franklynot". It's part of an ongoing series of albums of film music, this being "project 4".
Compiled by Isbum from tracks suggested and supplied by the many visitors/readers of his amazing meeting place. The album has been mastered by Quinlan and comes with full artwork by myself. This will be added to the Bond Collection page later on.
Check out the other releases in this collection at Isbums (link in sidebar)

As you may have noticed there is a typo on track 33:

Charles Bronson never did play Bond, so here is a corrected version with "Brosnan" instead :)

If anyone has noticed any clipping/distortion on some tracks, you can grab a lower mastered version here thanks to Filmpac.

If the version you have is OK for you, stay with it they are both the same.

Part Two

I hate to seem critical, especially in light of the monumental achievements made with all of the James Bond music collections available on or through this site. But that first cut should be called "Except Crime!" Goldfinger is talking about the great strides that have been made in all areas of human endeavor, and how each of them has a pinnacle of expertise that has been reached, "Except [for] Crime!". I don't know if this is a typo, or a misunderstanding of Goldfinger's meaning, but 'except' is correct, meaning that Crime is the exception. 'Accept' would mean to 'receive', or 'face up to', or 'take as a given'. Thanks, and keep up the EXCELLENT work. I'm loving the Bond music, and indeed, the Jazz comps and the other soundtracks. Great links, too.

Hey Anonymous,

It's great to see you taking such an in-depth interest in our little Spy site :)

Right or Wrong, I'm going to lay all blame on my good buddy Isbum because he compiled it and labelled it, I only designed the covers ;)

P.S. Only joking Issy :)
