Michael Caine stars as Jack Carter, the hard man from London who travels north to find out what really happened to his brother. A gritty classic of British cinema, written & directed by Mike Hodges in 1971 with yet another great score by Roy Budd. Although not as groovy as some of his other scores, this one fits the mood of the film like a glove. As well as some funky tunes it also includes a fair amount of easy-listening tracks, including the amazing Hallucinations (a track to chill out to). I've designed a front/back cover for this one using one of the original posters.

Thanks for posting this, the film was recently on our late night television and I had forgotten how good this film really was. A great depiction of urban life in Britain during the sixties.
