This is a childhood favourite of mine, from a time when it seemed all TV shows were produced by Stephen J. Cannell and all TV themes were written by Mike Post & Pete Carpenter.
Looking back, most of them were! here is the score to one of the most fondly remembered series' of the 80's. I have included the "original" theme as a bonus as well as the theme from season 5 (1986) which was a slightly beefed-up version. Sample the original version below.
