This is one pulse-pounding Big-Band showstopper of an album, Bandleader John Gregory (he of Chaquito fame) has a great knack of taking well-known tunes and presenting them with original and exciting arrangements. This is the way TV themes should sound!

John Gregory, the man behind the Chaquito easy listening albums of the 1960s, conducted and arranged this brilliant compilation of funk soundtrack covers in 1976. The track listing highlights the best of the 1970s cop shows and the album features one of the few recordings of the Cannon theme. If you're looking for uptempo, dancefloor easy listening / wah wah funk, buy this LP - the orchestra reall kicks ass!
